Step-by-step guide to uninstall McAfee antivirus from Windows and Mac computers

  1. To remove McAfee from your PC, you have to go to the Settings menu. You can access the Settings menu using the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the screen or the Windows search bar.  
  2. When you find Settings, please open it and look for the Apps menu under it. 
  3. On the Applications menu, you can use the search bar to see everything about McAfee on your computer. 
  4. You have to pick a McAfee product or app you wish to remove and hit the Uninstall button from the results. Confirm to uninstall by tapping on Uninstall once again. 
  5. Removing an application from your Windows PC comes under the administrative function. That is why you will need to allow the uninstall process.
